Summit Contracting Group has started construction on two multifamily projects that are part of “Grand Cypress,” a mixed-use development located directly south of Jacksonville and north of St. Augustine.
Grand Cypress is located between US 1 and I-95 at 6322 Race Track Road, in St. Johns, FL. The mixed-use development will include retail facing Race Track Road, and two market rate multifamily properties on Big Cypress Drive with a total of 844 units: Grand Cypress and Paraiso.
Grand Cypress multifamily will consist of 588 units in a “garden style” with 14 four-story buildings and seven two-story carriage house style buildings. Amenities include a clubhouse, fitness center, leasing office, swimming pool, pavilion with lounge area, 5-bay garages, mail kiosks, bike racks throughout property, and outdoor entertainment spaces. The total square footage is 772,311.
Paraiso is a four-story high density multifamily that will consist of 256 units in one building. Amenities include a swimming pool, courtyards, fitness center, clubroom, mail/package room. The total Square footage is 326,105.
Paraiso’s 256 unit construction is scheduled to be complete in the spring of 2023 and Grand Cypress multifamily will be fully completed in early 2024.
