It’s the end of the year, and we have so much to look back on and be proud of. Although challenging, 2023 was a great year for multifamily construction, and we share every success with our industry partners.
(70 projects on average monthly, varying as projects started and were delivered.) 10 of those active projects are utilizing tax credit programs for workforce and affordable housing apartments.
Northeast Florida was our busiest region this year with 22 projects active (some completed now, and some broke ground this year); 19 projects in Georgia surrounding the Atlanta Metro; and Orlando/Central FL came in third with 13 active projects.
5 of our completed projects won recognition awards in 2023. Congratulations to the owners, architects and project teams!
The multifamily industry pulled back on new deals this year, but we may be hitting the peak of deliveries coming out of the boom of the past 2 years.
