This will be a redevelopment of public housing, that will include demolition of existing structures to build a new HUD Multifamily Development in cooperation with The Gainesville Housing Authority and Pinnacle Housing Group.
Woodland Park–Phase I will consist of 96 units in four three-story buildings and a clubhouse, with total net square footage of 94,932. Amenities include a 3,208 square foot multifunctional clubhouse with fitness center, cyber lounge, community gathering areas, and maintenance and management offices.
A groundbreaking ceremony was held on June 10, 2019. Construction is scheduled to be complete in Summer of 2020. The owner is Woodland Park Redevelopment I, LLC and the architect is Miller Slayton Architects, Inc. Once completed, the project will be known as The Grove at Sweetwater Preserve.
