Summit Volunteers Ripped Leather Seams for Rethreaded

A group of #TeamSummit volunteers worked a half-day ripping seams of used leather that will become new products for sale from Rethreaded. Rethreaded is a non-profit with a mission to renew hope, reignite dreams and release potential for survivors of human trafficking through business. They up-cycle t-shirts and leather into wonderful new items like scarves, earrings, keychains, wallets and more.

“Who would’ve thought ripping seams from airliner seats would be so therapeutic. It felt great being able to support Rethreaded and their Mission to end human trafficking.” – Bryan, Summit Volunteer

This was a fun experience and a great opportunity to get out of the office, but the best part? Our team get’s to connect with each other while producing something for a good cause. We look forward to our next volunteer adventure!
