Summit Contracting Group, has broken ground and started on the site work for Sydney Trace, an affordable housing multifamily development, located off Oakleaf Village Parkway in Jacksonville, Florida.
With the influx of new residents and new employment opportunities over recent years, Jacksonville has been a growing multifamily development market with increased demand for affordable and workforce housing. We are proud to continue contributing to the betterment of our city by filling this demand through our continued partnership with Vestcor.
Sydney Trace will consist of 192 units in eight three-story buildings, with a total square footage of 230,400. Future residents will enjoy a clubhouse, swimming pool with sundeck, fitness center, dog park, pavilion with grills and common area wi-fi. Apartment features include spacious floorplans, fully equipped kitchens, energy efficient appliances, large walk-in closets and washers and dryer rentals available.
Construction has started and will be completed in Summer 2021. The developer is Vestcor, and the architect is Group 4 Design, Inc.
